Main Beach Flower Festival
The Main Beach Flower Festival is a positive, uplifting community-focused event designed to help the Gold Coast community feel rejuvenated and reinvigorated while supporting and promoting the wide range of businesses operating in Tedder Avenue and its surrounds.
The 2020 Main Beach Flower Festival – to be held on 27 and 28 June – will be the world’s first ‘phygital’ flower festival, one where physical space and digital technologies will combine. It is being organised by the Main Beach Business and Tourism Association Incorporated and supported by sponsors including the Gold Coast City Council and local businesspeople.
Within days of being appointed, the Wings PR team secured significant coverage for the event. The team’s efforts to encourage the community to hand-make butterflies for the festival’s artistic centrepiece resulted in thousands of masterpieces being sent in to the artistic director.
